The mission of The Aesthetic Institute is to teach advanced clinical skills and empower our students to become experts at medical aesthetics.

We empower each of our graduates to make a positive impact in the community we serve.

Our Story

The Aesthetic Institute had its humble beginnings in 2003 when Dr. Adam Summers began instructing small groups of aestheticians and nurses in advanced medical aesthetics. Initially this training was provided at the Maryland Plastic Surgery Center and PURE MedSpa. To meet the increasing demand for medical aesthetic training the company is opening its expanded footprint at its new location in 2023.

The Aesthetic Institute believes in the pursuit of education and aesthetics. We believe that The Aesthetic Institute is, and should always remain, a place of education, empowerment, and positive impact on our students as well as the community we serve.
